Yoga

Heth and Mel offer a variety of Yoga practices
to suit all ages and abilities.

Chair Yoga

Chair yoga is a gentle and accessible way to improve flexibility without needing to get down on the floor.

This form of yoga is ideal for people with limited mobility, stiffness, or the stress of those recovering from injury.

It can help to ease aches and pains while improving posture, circulation, strength and balance.

Classes are relaxed and supportive, making it a great way to move your body, boost confidence and feel energised in every day life.

Mel says, “I make this class especially friendly and inclusive from the moment you walk in. I really get how important this is. There is no pressure at all to get things right, just about people moving more comfortably and enjoying a bit of time for themselves. It's really important to me that everyone feels welcome with plenty of encouragement along the way. We will always end with a lovely relaxation as well.”

SlowFlow

A SlowFlow class offers the perfect balance of mindful movement and energising breathwork.

It helps to improve strength, flexibility, balance and overall well-being in a supportive environment.

By blending traditional yoga practices with fitness-inspired exercises, at a slow pace, we can enjoy both the physical challenge and relaxation that follows.

Ending with an optional sea dip gives an invigorating natural boost. This encourages resilience, reduces stress, and awakens the senses through the healing power of cold water in the ocean environment.

Together the experience nurtures body, mind, and spirit, while having fun with a sense of community and adventure.

Mel says, “I love creating a warm and welcoming no pressure atmosphere. It's not about being super fit or bendy, it's about moving your body, having a laugh, getting out by the sea and feeling better in yourself. My approach is down to earth, and I mix encouragement with fun, helping people feel comfortable, whatever their age, shape or fitness level. The optional sea dip at the end is all part of that feel-good experience. It's a chance to wake up, clear your head, and leave, feeling really refreshed and alive!”

Hatha Yoga

Hatha Yoga is a gentle and accessible form of yoga that focuses on physical postures, breathing techniques and relaxation.

Classes are usually slower paced, giving time to move mindfully, improve flexibility and strength, and calm the nervous system.

It is suitable for most ages and abilities, including beginners, and can help reduce stress, improve balance, and support overall well-being. Hatha yoga encourages people to reconnect with their body and breathe in a steady grounded way.

Heth says, “Yoga has changed my body and changed my life, helping make some really positive changes. It’s a gift for me that I gladly share through different classes and styles. This Hatha class has a gentle morning vibe, though all my classes lean towards being deeply energising!"

Dynamic Hatha Yoga

Dynamic yoga is a more energising style that links movement with breath in a sequence of postures.

While still grounded in traditional principles, classes tend to move at a quicker pace, helping to build strength, flexibility, and focus.

It offers a more active practice, making it ideal for people who want the calming benefits of yoga alongside a stronger physical workout.

Heth says, “I really love the dynamic yoga practice. My first teacher alternated Hatha with Ashtanga practice, and this has been my choice ever since. I often feel most alive and most in my body when engaging in a dynamic yoga practice and I really hope to share these benefits with people who come to this class.”

Restorative Yoga with Sound Therapy

Restorative Yoga is a slow, deeply restful style of yoga that focuses on long held floor based stretches, designed to release tension in the body's deeper connective tissues. Poses are held gently for several minutes at a time, allowing space to slow down, breathe, and settle the nervous system.

Accompanied by gentle, live, therapeutic sound, the practice becomes a calming and immersive experience that can support rest and relaxation with a deeper sense of connection to body and mind.

Mel & Heth say, “We love this session as we are both in our elements here. Mel really relates to Restorative Yoga and how it has helped her through anxious periods in her life. Heth’s music is like a life soundtrack where improvisation allows the creative juices to flow. We love working together on this one.”
